Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
N.B. Occasionally, the calculation of VAT may cause a variation of 1p which will always be rounded down -
eg price is actually £79.50 but you are charged £79.49


We accept all major credit cards and use PayPal as our Payment Service Provider (PSP). If you prefer, you can send your details and order via phone, fax, or snail mail.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. In the event of different pricing or alternative goods being offered, we will always contact you first before completing and dispatching your order.

N.B. We DO NOT accept orders from any country on the African continent, countries in conflict zones, or countries deemed by Her Majesty's Government to be unstable or in an area of risk.
Shipping And Handling
Single Item Shipping & Handling Rates for the U.K., also including:
Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man & Scottish Isles.
(Rates are inclusive of 20% VAT)
Bags, tiaras, waistcoats, jewellery, veils, neckwear sets, underwear, wraps - £4.95
Shoes - £5.95
Petticoats - £7.95
Party & Prom dresses, light wedding dresses - £12.95
Suits - £19.95
Wedding dresses - £35
Most items are sent 1st Class Recorded Delivery, but Special Delivery will be used (at our discretion) for higher value items.
('International Signed For' or 'Airsure' are used for all other destinations)

Rates for Europe are as above x2.3
Rates for USA and Canada are as above x 2.5 but are VAT exempt (total minus 20%)

Shipping & Handling Rates for multiple purchases reduce on a pro rata basis
(e.g. Buying 2 pairs of shoes on 1 transaction is cheaper than on 2 seperate transactions)

U.K. shipping - FREE
European destinations must have the following shipping added to order totals and included in PayPal payment:
Satins - 1-4mtrs / £12, 5-7mtrs / £18, 8-10mtrs / £25, 11-14 / £30, 15-20 / £35
Silks & Georgette - 1-4mtrs / £10, 5-7mtrs / £15, 8-10mtrs / £20, 11-14 / £25, 15-20 / £30
Chiffon & Organza - 1-4mtrs / £5, 5-7mtrs / £7, 8-10mtrs / £9, 11-14 / £12, 15-20 / £15
Rest of the World Rates - As above x 2.5 (Goods VAT exempt / 20% off UK prices)
Delivery Schedule
Please allow 28 days for delivery.
Orders for items which are 'in stock' will be despatched within 5 days of the order being placed.
In the event of items being out of stock, despatch may take longer . For International orders, please allow 7 days from date of despatch. If you have a tight dead line please Email us direct for a delivery date confirmation (sales@beverleywedgwood.co.uk)
Back Orders
We make every effort to ensure you receive your goods as soon as possible.
In the event that any item is only available on back order, we will always contact you first with details and give you the option to cancel your order if the new time frame is too long.
Tax Charges
Prices quoted on our web site include VAT at 20%.
(N.B. Children's items are VAT exempt)

VAT is payable on all orders made from the UK or the European Union.
Orders made from outside the EU are VAT exempt.

Guarantee
All good listed are offered in good faith, and will be supplied within 28 days (Longer delivery times are stated with the products concerned - eg. Party & Prom Dresses made to order - delivery is approx. 12 weeks). In the even that items are no longer available or will take longer than 28 days to be supplied, we will contact you directly to give you the option to cancel your order or agree to the new delivery schedule.

Items available On Line make up a small percentage of the total goods we offer. Most items can be purchased via mail order. If you wish to make a purchase of items not listed in our On Line Shop, please contact us direct for details.

We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion without stating a reason.

Returns Policy

Returns Policy
You may return any item to us if we are notified by email within 3 days and the goods are returned within 7 days of receipt - providing the goods are in original condition.

Original Condition - includes but is not limited to: all original labelling still attached, packaging intact, no smoke smells, perfume smells, fake tan, dirty marks, alterations, signs of wear on shoe soles, signs of hair spray on tiaras.

Our shipping & handling costs will be deducted from ALL refunds, and a 25% restocking fee applies to most items. Items with no restocking fee, or a different fee are listed below:

Party & Prom dresses To Order - Delivery takes appoximately 12 weeks from date of order confirmation.
All dresses are made to order, and in the even of the dress being returned, a 50% restocking fee will be charged, along with our shipping & handling costs of £12.95
(It is your responsibility to order the correct size using the size charts in our main site - we suggest you use the biggest of bust, waist, or hip mesurements you take to determine the size to order, with a view to having the dress altered inwards locally if required. Never assume a dress can be let out as there may be no seam allowance. If you need guidance, please call us direct with your measurements on 01606 339259)

Bridal Sale Dresses and Stock Party & Prom dresses - NO restocking fee
Please note: Bridal Sale Dresses are ex shop samples and may have been tried on in store. Whilst theses dresses are in excellent condition, they are not pristine 'out of the box'. We make every effort to spot clean a dress where neccessary before dispatch, but you may feel you want to have a dress dry cleaned on receipt as it will have been tried on in store - This is your decision and at your expense.

Shoes - FREE exchange for a different size in the same style.
Sale Shoes & Underwear Tops - FREE Exchange for a different size if available -
As these items are now reduced to clear,
alternative sizes may not be available, in which case a full item refund will be processed.
(An additional Shipping & handling fee will be charged for ALL exchange items)
Sale shoes and underwear items are only available in the sizes listed.
(N.B. dyed shoes, knickers & stockings cannot be returned for any reason)

Neckwear returns - These items are made to order.
The restocking fee is 50% and we do not offer an exchange for other colours or sizes.

Fabric - FREE shipping on all U.K. fabric orders.
(Manually added tariffs apply for all other destinations - see website)
ALL customers are strongly recommended to purchase a swatch before buying fabric as all images are for illustration only, and fabric can only be returned if faulty.
Swatches are sent by 1st class post. Fabric orders are sent (folded) by recorded delivery.

Return Delivery costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer.
(For your protection, we strongly recommend you use a special delivery service
- requiring a signature - for returns, as proof of posting is not proof of receipt.)
Remittance Terms
Full payment is taken for all orders before they are dispatched.
